San Jose Winchester Mystery House March 2016

San Jose Winchester Mystery House March 2016I took my amazing team at Palo Alto Orthodontics to the San Jose Winchester Mystery House. We celebrating the amazing past few months that we have had at the office and spent the afternoon together.

The unfinished house is an amazing experience. We walked through 110 out of the 160 rooms in the house! All together, that meant we walked over a mile throughout the house. Sarah Winchester purchased the house in 1884. At the time, it was a small 8 room farmhouse. Sources say that a Boston Medium had advised Sarah to purchase a house and never stop building. The house was under construction 24/7 for 38 years!

San Jose Winchester Mystery House March 2016Her belief in spirits and ghosts led her to build an eccentric house full of doors that lead to nowhere, confusing staircases, items found in clusters of 13 and images of spiderwebs. Only 6 months after Sarah’s death, the house was open for visitors.  Adrea is convinced the house is haunted as she and another visitor heard creaking noises in an empty room.

San Jose Winchester Mystery House March 2016We all had a great time learning about the strange history of the house and spending time together as a team. We finished off the day by eating amazing food at Maggiano’s at Santana Row. I believe Palo Alto Orthodontics has the best team of fun and compassionate people. I can’t thank them enough for all their energy and effort they put in everyday to make our team amazing! This is the best home away from home I could ask for… We hope you love our practice as much as we do!
